Happy #manimonday everyone! Let’s get into this week’s dolphin design!

Products used:
Stamping plate: Lina Nail Art Supplies “Make Your Mark 04” and Born Pretty “BP-L063”
Stamping polish: Born Pretty “BP-WN04 Pure” and Hit the Bottle “A Bolt from the Blue”
Base: Essie base coat and “Lapiz of Luxury”
Top coat: Sally Hansen “Double Duty Base & Top Coat”
It was another quiet week which meant I could do whatever I wanted on my nails. I had previously done this swirly pattern and said it looked like waves, so after seeing the dolphins on one of my other plates, I decided to go with this look.
I just want to start by saying that I absolutely love this look! It’s something different and it’s very fresh. I find blue nails are sometimes hard to pull off too, but this design just works. It’s perfect for the upcoming beach weather too.
However, this design wasn’t all smooth sailing. Once again, we (my support worker, Mum and I) had real trouble getting the Hit the Bottle blue stamping polish to pick up the swirly pattern. We tried working quickly, picking the design up with a squish technique, a roll technique, hard and soft but nothing really worked. We managed to pick up enough of the swirls to put them on my nails, but the dolphins were a complete disaster, hence we opted to stamp in white and colour in with the blue. If you have any suggestions on how I can get it to work, please let me know in the comments below.
On the other hand, the Born Pretty white stamping polish picked up a dream. These are definitely my favourite stamping polishes.
Bye for now!
