Happy #manimonday everyone! Mixing it up a little bit this week with a purple wavy look that you can wear anywhere.

Products used:

Stamping plate: Lina Nail Art Supplies “Make Your Mark 04”
Stamping polish: Born Pretty “BP-WN03 Pure”
Base: Essie base coat and “It’s Genius”

My usual support worker who normally does my nails was away this week, so a different support worker did them (haha I say she’s in training). I’m happy to say that she did quite a good job and we’re both happy with how this design worked out.

The plan was to go out for dinner on Friday night, so I picked “It’s Genius” to match my jumper. Unfortunately, I didn’t end up going to dinner (I went to see The Lion King instead – a missed opportunity for lion themed nails), but it is still nice to have a pop of colour on my nails, compared to the naturals, blacks and red I usually wear.

As my support worker is still new to stamping, I went with the Born Pretty stamping polish as they’re a dream to pick up. As I have their stamping polishes in black, white, red, silver, purple and pink, we were limited to these colours. After doing a tester with the black, silver and white, we decided that white looked the best. We did, however, have a bit of trouble picking up the very fine lines in the image, but after lots of tries, we (haha not the royal “we” because I did try myself) got there in the end.

If I did this design again, I think it would look really cool with a dark blue base and light blue and white stamping to look like waves in the water. Maybe this is a design I’ll do in the future.
