Happy #manimonday everyone! Let’s get into this week’s striped design!

Products used:

Stamping plate: Born Pretty “BP-L013”
Stamping polish: Hit the Bottle “Expresso Martini”
Base: Essie base coat, “Blanc” and “Sand Tropez”
Top coat: Opi Australia “Rapid Dry Top Coat”

This week’s design was complex yet simple at the same time. As I’ll be wearing this design for two weeks (because I can’t do my nails this week) I wanted something neutral that will also not show the chips too badly.

When it comes to neutrals, it’s either pink or nude/brown and as I was wearing red on Saturday which had a gold zipper, I opted for nude. My pink stamping polish is also quite bold while this brown is a touch subtler, which was another reason for going brown. I picked this pattern design because I didn’t want too much stamping on my nails (because again if it chips) but also because it kind of looks a bit like a zipper pattern, therefore, reflecting my dress.

When the design became complex was again trying to pick up the Hit The Bottle stamping polishes. We got about two perfect pickups, but the others had a few lines that weren’t complete. I have no idea what we’re doing wrong (perhaps because it was a thin line) but I’m going to keep trying till it works because I absolutely love their colours.

Bye for now!
