Happy #manimonday everyone! Let’s get into this week’s silver star design!

Products used:

Stamping plate: Lina Nail Art Supplies “All Mixed Up 01”
Stamping polish: Born Pretty “BP-WN02 Fly”
Base: Essie base coat and Revlon “Midnight Affair 791”

This week my usual support worker was away, so Mum did my nails again. As I volunteered on Saturday at the Make-A-Wish quiz night, I had a clearer idea of what design I wanted on my nails.

The Lina Nail Art Supplies “All Mixed Up 01” is one of my favourite stamping plates as it has a great variety of images, including the horse silhouettes and this star pattern which I got for race days when my horses, whose jockey wears blue and white star silks, race.

However, as I said, this weekend I had a Make-A-Wish event so I decided to do my nails to match that. I went with a darker blue (it is slightly lighter in person though) because the normal blue is a bit too stark. Combined with the silver stars, it gives the design a really nice night sky look as well. The pigmentation of the Born Pretty stamping polish is amazing too; as you can see the silver has no trouble showing up on a dark base. I’m going to order some more of their polishes soon and I look forward to trying them.

If I was going to do a proper night sky design (I was just matching the Make-A-Wish symbol here), I would do a moon on my ring finger to add a little bit of interest.

Bye for now!
