Christmas is nearly here, so I thought I’d do a Christmas look that you can easily recreate this festive season!

My usual nail art support worker is taking the rest of the year off, so we wanted to end the year with a fantastic look. This is my only Christmas themed plate, so I had done some research the day before and found a look that was almost identical to the one we recreated. Having a picture to base the look off also worked out really well as we were under time pressure as I was at the races that afternoon. I would say that this was one of our quickest looks, taking a little over an hour (it was an hour and a half all up, but that included taking off my previous nail polish and dealing with a nail polish that was too thick).

In terms of how easy this look was to create; it was super easy. We had 99.9% successful pickups, with the only issue being the deer’s legs on one pickup. The other issue was that the tree and snowflake images were slightly too small for my nails, but as you can see, with the trees we just patched up the red gap with a bit of the left-over image.

My second (of three) nail mail packages from Aliexpress (purchased early/mid-November) also arrived this week and this time it was my Beauty Big Bang purchase. I’d never purchased from them before but Aliexpress had a sale on, so their stamping plates were super cheap, and I also purchased their stamper (this one if you’re interested – stamper). It was very affordable at 80 cents and I’m pleased to say that we had no trouble getting it to pickup Santa. It was actually very handy having two stampers, as I could have the reverse stamping design drying on one stamper (Santa in this case) and use my other stamper to continue stamping my other nails, which also helped reduce the waiting time dramatically! I look forward to reviewing the Beauty Big Bang stamping plates in the coming months.

This will be my last #ManiMonday post for 2019. I hope you have all enjoyed my looks over the past six months and I look forward to showing you new looks in 2020!

Have a happy holiday and a merry Christmas!
