Confidence rating
My confidence isn’t the best as I’ve done this a bit on the fly as I’m in Melbourne. The fields look even and the heavy track is going to make for an interesting day. Race 3 and 7 look to be the most even races and I’d avoid betting in race 3 if I was you. In terms of The Velvet Queen, I’m hoping for easier viewing than last time! The track conditions look to suit her but from the wide barrier I’m worried about how far back she’ll get or if she’ll be 3 wide with no cover. Ginger Flyer only has to carry 59kg with Holly’s claim and she’ll get a comfortable spot in running which I think could be the difference.
