Confidence rating

An eleven race card makes for an interesting day! Race 8 I thought was pretty even, while I’d avoid races 1, 2 and 6. I tossed up between Twain’s Angel and Pompey to be my best bet and while I normally don’t like picking a best bet in a race that doesn’t have a lot of form around it, Pompey was just a touch too short for me. This weekend it’s double trouble for me with Martini Sunrise in race 5 and Weaponson in race 10. Martini Sunrise steps up massively in class here but finished home strongly at her maiden start. She should take improvement from that run. Weaponson trialled nicely and goes well fresh. He was super consistent last preparation, but I just would have liked a dryer track for him.
