Confidence rating

This year’s Winterbottom definitely has to be one of the more open editions of this race. Together with race 3, I noted these races as ones to avoid. Races 2, 5 and 9 were also even and race 1 seems to be a battle between my top two tips. The Velvet Queen starts off her preparation in race 4. It looks to be a good race for her and she goes well first up. Brooklyn Pier just has a bit more fitness on his side and I think I’ll be more confident next start when The Velvet Queen steps up in distance.
