Confidence rating
My confidence this week isn’t the best and I do worry that the heat may make things a little bit interesting. Races 1 and 5 were ones I noted as being ones to avoid, while races 3, 4 and 9 look to be pretty even. I’ve got both of my horses on top this week which makes me nervous. William Pike stays on Weaponson which is a positive. He’s drawn a bit wide, but hopefully he can just roll forward from there. The Velvet Queen is looking to also make it two wins in a row. Form wise she looks to be the best horse in the race and conditions look to suit. I’m just a touch weary of Corn Cob and the fact that sometimes she can run into a bit of bad luck. Hopefully, class and her turn of foot helps her prevail.
